Who We Are Looking For
The Director of Demand Generation requires an experienced, reliable and task-oriented person who enjoys working in a growing multi-state business. The Director of Demand Generation will be a critical member of the sales and marketing leadership team who will focus on developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies designed to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and will lead our growing Sales Development Representative (SDR) organization. The Director of Demand Generation will be responsible for building a high-performance SDR team to increase demand for Alula products/services and will work closely with marketing and field sales departments to maintain an understanding of the evolving market. This role requires strong attention to detail and complete confidentiality
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Develop multi-touch, multi-channel new customer acquisition plans that align with corporate goals
Responsible for the creation and management of the lead funnel to nurture and generate demand via website, email, social, events, direct mail, effective use of content and webinars, SEO and paid media
Leverage account based marketing (ABM) activity to pursue highly qualified accounts
Lead, manage and drive results of the Sales Development Representative team
Generate new leads/demand for Regional and National Outside Sales team
Generate and close small to mid-market partners over the phone
Support the process of identifying strategic trade-shows, and execution support of these and other more vertical lead development initiatives
Work with other marketing team members to design and coordinate monthly online events
Deliver monthly business reviews through tracking program results, measuring program success, ROI, and key reporting metrics
Work with product marketing to execute demand generation programs designed to drive revenue across various buying personas and key segments of opportunity
Utilize and maintain Salesforce.com and other firm specific programs and software
Perform special projects as directed by management
Ability to travel long distance or air as needed; up to 25% travel.
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Experience and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent work experience
Entrepreneurial spirit, and a sense of urgency to achieve goals
Minimum 8 years marketing or equivalent experience with minimum of 3 years of experience in Demand Generation driving B2B marketing activities and 3 years of experience leading an SDR team
Deep Marketing Automation expertise – campaign creation, reporting, analytics and integration
Proven strong management and leadership skills
Ability to hire and inspire a high energy and performing SDR team
Excellent organization and time management skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize
Demonstrated ability to influence and work in cross-functional team environment
Must possess high degree of professionalism and proven ability to work with confidential information.
Hands on experience with Pardot and Salesforce.com CRM software
Ability to meet all assigned deadlines
Experience with general business office procedures
General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels
Long-distance or air travel as needed. – not to exceed 25% travel
Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.
