As head of the firm’s marketing, Dan Morton is responsible for developing and executing marketing and branding strategies, product development and strategic planning for the end user experience. In addition, he manages the company’s marketing and channel distribution teams.
Mr. Morton joined ipDatatel in 2014 with over 20 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, Internet, and retail energy. Prior to joining ipDatatel, he was Sr. Director of Innovation and Home Solutions at NRG Energy, where he created and launched new, high-growth services to expand the company’s product offerings beyond retail energy.
Mr. Morton has sought out and marketed disruptive technologies while serving in leadership roles with several high growth companies including Microsoft, Vonage, AOL, and NRG. Mr. Morton has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Western Washington University.
